Our Process

At JFJ we want to learn how we can best serve you and design a plan to help you meet your unique goals. Here’s what you can expect from your JFJ service. We use a three meeting process to:

1.) Learn about you

2.) Brainstorm ways to reach your goals

3.) Recommend a course of action to get you to where you want to be.

After the initial meeting if you wish to continue the process and engage us for our services we will have you sign our client agreement and then you will receive a link to start uploading the requested documents. We will use the information to draw projections of your current financial trajectory. We call this your basic plan. This basic plan reflects our expectations if you make no changes to your current financial strategy.

We take this list of potential strategies and then we start crunching the numbers, testing how these different paths effect the outcome. We weigh many factors and narrow down to our recommended course of action.

Transitioning to On-Going Care

The real value of the plan, however, is in the implementation. From here our service continues on a retainer basis. We provide on-going advice through all stages and changes you will face. We also can manage your assets and directly implement our recommendations ourselves, taking that worry off your plate. We stay up-to-date with your current situation through quarterly meetings from this point on.
